Primet Develops Tetragonal Barium Titanate for Printable Electronics

A pure tetragonal phase BaTiO3 with mean particle sizes less than 100nm is highly sought after because it can enable next generation capacitor technology.

BaTiO3 is a particularly challenging material to produce since it readily forms a sometimes undesirable surface cubic phase, is shear sensitive and difficult to analyze.

Primet was able to meet this challenge with a sub-100 nm material that maintains its pure tetragonal phase and high C/A ratio.

Primet has delivered NanoScission™ BaTiO3 in customers’ proprietary dielectric formulations and is willing to pursue proprietary formulations for any client.  All such formulations are held confidential and not offered to other companies or organizations.
